Job summary

Silver X is seeking a Stock & Service Assistant to ensure accurate inventory control and efficient warehouse administration in a fast-paced 3PL setting. You will coordinate between warehouse operations, systems, and clients, handling stock movements, documentation, and client queries.

The role emphasizes accuracy, responsiveness, and compliance with processes, with on-site work at Sutton-in-Ashfield. We welcome applicants with warehouse experience and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control is essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records across clients and SKUs in the WMS.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and full stock takes; investigate discrepancies.
• Process inbound/outbound documents (GRNs, delivery notes, PODs, transfer notes).
• Update data in the WMS and prepare stock and client reports.
• Handle calls/emails about orders, deliveries, and returns.
