Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an Inventory Operator in Witney to join the Inventory Operations and Supply Management team on a permanent basis. You will ensure safe custody and real-time visibility of stock, supporting operational teams during incidents.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, SAP-based stock control, and timely stock movement; 45 hours/week, Monday-Friday on a rota. Training provided for FLT and compatibility with Excel and basic IT skills.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience essential.
• Have a valid, full UK driving licence and own transport.
• Excellent numeracy, verbal and written skills.
• Basic computer skills, especially Excel.
• FLT licence beneficial but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical handling equipment safely.
• SAP to reconcile real-time stock levels.
• Update stock records and manage daily receipts from Distribution Centres.
• Safely load and unload vehicles and ensure on-time delivery/collection of stock.
