Bestway Healthcare in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Recycling Centre Operative to join the Inventory Team. You will perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory tasks to maintain stock availability and accuracy, handling totes, stock rotations, and investigations into discrepancies.

The role emphasizes accurate picking, packing, and processing customer orders while supporting stock control and safety standards within a healthcare-focused warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with digitized handheld picking scanners and stock accounting scanners.
• Good communication and ability to work as a team is advantageous.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check totes at the Recycling Centre.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and exceptions.
• Pick, pack and process customer orders accurately.
• Support stock control to maintain inventory records.
• Conduct regular stock counts and expiry date reviews.
• Apply FEFO and FIFO stock rotation principles.
• Maintain high stock accuracy and assist inventory control processes.
• Adhere to health, safety and operational standards.
