Job summary

CMS Distribution seeks a Stock Control Coordinator at the Castleford site to ensure stock records are accurate and operations run efficiently. You will conduct cycle counts, coach staff, and support full site stock checks to maintain inventory integrity.

The role requires experience with warehouse processes and ERP/WMS systems such as SAP and HighJump, with strong numeracy and attention to detail. You will work on site with a team focused on high customer satisfaction and efficient stock control.

Qualifications

• Experience with stock counting processes in a warehouse environment.
• Strong numeracy and ability to work with data in Excel and ERP systems.
• Proficient in using SAP and ERP/WMS tools for stock management.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cycle counts and process any rechecks.
• Training and coaching of warehouse staff on cycle count process.
• Support periodic full site stock checks and re-checks.
• Determine appropriate physical stock locations based on velocity reports.
• Use stock bin reports to relocate non-conforming products.
• Support removal of damaged/non-conforming goods and resolve shipping issues.
• Investigate and resolve stock queries and stock movements.
• Carry out stock rotations as requested by Product Managers.
