Job summary

TE Connectivity in the United Kingdom is seeking an Inventory Controller to support inventory control, production planning, and material planning. You will ensure ERP data accuracy and help maintain safe, efficient shopfloor operations.

You will liaise with Finance and Planning, manage perpetual counts, Kanban replenishment, and ensure timely production orders, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Understanding of production planning and inventory control principles.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and 5S+1 methodology.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environment is an asset.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to site safety rules and contribute to safety objectives.
• Follow procedures to ensure quality standards.
• Manage inventory to support production schedules including perpetual counts.
• Understand and follow production and inventory documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and system logs.
• Promote organization using 5S+1 practices.
• Carry out tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies with Finance per company policies.
• Execute inventory adjustments to align system with stock; initiate Kanban replenishment weekly.
• Change production orders as needed.
• Create and delete dynamic storage bins as required.
• Print and manage shop floor Production orders, labels.
• Prioritize and direct workflow from daily plans.
• Coordinate with Planning and Production teams.
• Support schedule adherence, review late/early orders.
• Support root cause analysis for routings tasks.
