Job summary

Alexander Steele Ltd. is seeking an experienced Inventory Co-Ordinator to join its FMCG manufacturing operation near Bromsgrove. This is a 12‑month maternity cover, working closely with the Inventory Manager and cross‑functional teams in Warehouse, Purchasing and Production.

You will manage day‑to‑day stock levels, perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, maintain ERP records and generate reports to support stock control and process improvements in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Keeps stock accurate and moving efficiently across the operation.
• Carries out cycle counts and physical stock checks.
• Investigates stock discrepancies and identifies root causes.
• Maintains accurate inventory records through ERP systems.
• Produces inventory reports and supports stock audits.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day inventory levels and stock accuracy.
• Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments.
• Reconciling stock movements with Warehouse, Purchasing and Production.
• Producing inventory reports, including stock ageing, valuation and usage.
• Identifying ways to improve stock accuracy and efficiency.
• Supporting stock audits and inventory control processes.
• Following Health & Safety procedures.
