Job summary

Ser- is seeking an Inventory & Operations Data Lead on a 12 month contract to manage daily stock levels, analyse data trends, and produce KPI reports. The role involves close collaboration with operations, planning, sales, warehousing and supply chain teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

You will build strong relationships across departments, maintain accurate records, and drive continuous improvements in inventory processes. A UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret large data sets and provide insights
  • Excellent communication with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience producing KPI reports and performance analysis
  • Knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with operations, planning, sales, warehousing and supply chain teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Monitoring stock movements, investigating discrepancies and recommending improvements to inventory processes.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline operations and enhance service levels.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting across inventory, operational performance and customer requirements.
  • Building strong working relationships with both customers and colleagues across the business.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an Inventory & Operations Data Lead to support one of their most important customer accounts. Inventory & Operations Data Lead (12 Month Contract)

Salary – Up to £35,000 DOE (Negotiable for the right experience)

Location – Coldfield

Requirements

  • Previous experience within Inventory, Stock Control, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Operations or Data Analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large volumes of data and present meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience producing KPI reports and performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems would be advantageous.
  • A proactive and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
