Job summary

Swift Temps Ltd in Daventry is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join a busy warehouse. Immediate starts and ongoing full-time work with a temp-to-perm pathway are on offer. The role pays £13.69 per hour with two fixed shifts and weekly pay, supporting accurate stock control and continuous improvement.

You will maintain stock records, perform counts, resolve discrepancies, and use WMS to keep stock movements aligned with operations. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of stock control procedures.
• Experience with WMS systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels.
• Carrying out regular stock counts and cycle counts.
• Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
• Updating warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Liaising with warehouse and operational teams to ensure stock accuracy.
• Monitoring stock movements and reporting any issues.
• Supporting continuous improvement within stock control processes.
