Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain inventory accuracy and support shipping/receiving at a distribution center. The role involves cycle counts, audits, and reporting to leadership, with site QA responsibilities and compliance with food safety where applicable.

Depending on the site, responsibilities may include recalls, holds/releases, pest control monitoring, and maintaining the quality management portal. A strong eye for detail and basic office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; associate degree or two years of experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Familiar with ISO requirements preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain perpetual inventory and generate reports.
• Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits; report damaged stock.
• Verify clerical records against physical counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate product recalls, holds/releases and infestation audits when needed.
• Ensure site quality readiness (SQFI, FDA or customer needs) and support QA training.
• Maintain the site quality management portal and draft/revise SOPs as needed.
