Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics is seeking an experienced Inventory Supervisor to join our fast-paced warehouse in Milton Keynes. You will lead daily inventory activities, drive cycle counts, and ensure accuracy of stock records across systems. This role emphasizes collaboration with inbound/outbound teams and a commitment to continuous improvement.

We value attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and hands-on leadership to coach staff and meet KPI targets in a global logistics network.

Qualifications

Experience in stock control and warehouse operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead and coach a small team to meet KPIs.

Responsibilities

Supervise the daily activities of the inventory team and allocate tasks according to operational priorities.
Ensure inventory records accurately reflect the physical stock held within the warehouse.
Organise and monitor daily cycle counts, stock checks and full inventory counts.
Investigate inventory discrepancies, stock shortages, overages and incorrect locations.
Identify root causes of stock variances and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure agreed inventory KPIs are achieved.
Lead investigations into major inventory discrepancies and escalate significant risks to management.
Train, coach and monitor Inventory Controllers / Inventory Operatives to ensure required performance and quality standards.
