Job summary

Loom Talent is working with a leading logistics and supply chain business in Sunbury-on-Thames to recruit a Stock Control Manager. You will lead the stock control function, drive stock accuracy, and oversee warehouse administration in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will manage a Stock Control team, collaborate with Warehouse Manager and operations, and use data to identify improvements while ensuring customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in stock control or inventory management
• Previous people management experience
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
• Produce and analyse stock reports and identify trends.
• Develop and maintain inventory control procedures.
• Support efficient warehouse performance with operational teams.
• Lead, coach and develop the Stock Control team.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure health & safety, quality standards followed.
• Complete inventory reporting and documentation on time.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the warehouse.
