Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Derby is hiring an Inventory Clerk to join a brand-new ecommerce operation. Launching in January 2026 at a highly automated 514,000 sq ft distribution centre, the role focuses on stock integrity, cycle counting, and WMS-driven stock movements.

You will work a pattern across earlies/lates and nights (5 days from 7), with benefits including parking, pension, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous inventory, stock control, or stock integrity experience within a warehouse environment.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Confident investigating stock discrepancies and identifying root causes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock accuracy across the distribution centre through cycle counting and stock investigations.
• Investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies to ensure system and physical stock alignment.
• Support warehouse operations through stock movements, transfers, and WMS updates.
• Investigate nil picks and report findings.
• Work safely and follow all DHL health and safety procedures.
