Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Rushden is looking for an Inventory Clerk to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. A typical day includes accurate and timely receipt of goods and returns onto the WMS, maintaining stock figures by cycle counts and investigating discrepancies.

We seek someone with inventory experience, a solid understanding of UK supply chains, and the ability to follow work instructions and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Inventory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Understanding of UK supply chain operations and processes.
• Experience working in a matrix organisation with complex procedures.
• Ability to follow work instructions, procedures and safety rules.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely receipt of goods inwards onto WMS system.
• Accurate and timely receipt of returns onto WMS system.
• Maintain accurate stock figures by cycle counts of product.
• Ensure accurate stock figures are reflected in WMS.
• Analyse and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Ensure the warehouse remains compliant with relevant audit criteria.

Grade: RCS O grade
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns:

• Any 5 days from 7 on a rotating shift pattern (consecutive days), alternating between 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.
• Flexibility is essential as candidates will be required to work both shift patterns.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Have Inventory Experience.
• Have an Understanding of Supply Chain in the UK.
• Have experience of working in a matrix organisation with complex processes and procedures.

• Have good analytical and numeracy skills.
