Job summary

Victorian Plumbing is seeking an Inventory Accountant to join our Leyland HQ finance team. You will master the stock universe, collaborating with Supply Chain, ICQA and Finance Leadership to ensure precise reporting and strong inventory controls.

You will manage valuation, reconciliations, NRV and obsolescence provisions, and support costing activities to stay competitive. Based at Leyland HQ, 5 days a week (37.5 hours).

Qualifications

• Professional qualification: Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
• Retail or commercial inventory management experience.
• Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversighting the recording, valuation, and reconciliation of inventory balances.
• Partnering with ICQA to ensure robust, audit-ready inventory processes.
• Maintaining controls over stock movements, adjustments, NRV and obsolescence provisions.
• Supporting product costing and financial modelling to maintain market competitiveness.
• Collaborating with Commercial Finance to align inventory projections with the financial roadmap.
