Job summary

Victorian Plumbing, the UK’s leading online bathroom retailer, is seeking a Purchas­ing Assistant to join our busy stock and buying team in Leyland. You’ll manage supplier communications, coordinate purchase orders, and monitor stock levels to keep our fast-paced operation running smoothly.

We’re looking for detail‑oriented, proactive individuals who can thrive in a busy retail environment and collaborate across Customer Service, Trade, and Resolutions teams to resolve blockers quickly.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and stock reports.

Responsibilities

• Build Purchase Orders and track incoming stock deliveries.
• Monitor lead times and update ETAs across internal systems.
• Answer stock queries and clear order blockers with other teams.
• Resolve delivery discrepancies and handle invoices with accounts.
• Maintain day-to-day purchasing reports for visibility on stock availability.
