Job summary

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a Patient Flow Coordinator (Band 4) to support the Interventional Radiology department at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton. This full-time role focuses on coordinating inpatient, outpatient, cancer and urgent bookings, ensuring smooth patient pathways and timely information for safe diagnostics and treatment.

You will liaise with referrers, wards and services, manage telephone enquiries and use systems such as Web Portal, PACS and PAS.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE or equivalent attaining a pass in a minimum of 4 subjects including English Language.
• Experience in NHS environment preferred.
• Strong administrative and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide all administrative services involved in managing patient bookings for Interventional Radiology.
• Coordinate inpatient, outpatient, cancer and urgent bookings with referrers, wards and portering services.
• Handle incoming telephone communications in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
• Use computer-based systems including Web Portal, Soliton, PACS, PAS, ePMA, ICE and Teletracking (training provided).
• Collate data and provide throughput, capacity and demand analysis.
