Job summary

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a patient flow co-ordinator to support Radiology bookings across CT, MRI, US and Plain Film departments. You will coordinate inpatient, outpatient, cancer and urgent bookings, liaise with referrers, wards, transport and interpreting services, and handle patient communications with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience working with a wide range of digital and patient systems.
• Previous experience in a Radiology or patient-facing administrative role.
• Experience handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide all administrative services involved in managing patient bookings for Radiology.
• Coordinate inpatient, outpatient, cancer and urgent bookings across Radiology, liaising with referrers, wards, portering and transport services.
• Manage incoming telephone communications with patients, referrers and staff in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
• Use a variety of computer-based systems (Web Portal, Soliton, PACS, PAS, ePMA, ICE and Teletracking); training will be provided.
• Perform other administrative duties to coordinate patient flow through the department/service.
• Collate data and provide statistical analyses of throughput, capacity and demand.
