Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is seeking a Diagnostic Radiographer to join the Interventional Radiology team across Manchester sites. No IR experience required as full training will be provided; a passion for IR is welcomed.

You will work in a busy vascular/IR environment, participate in 24/7 on-call shifts, and contribute to high-quality imaging and patient care using advanced equipment at multiple sites within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Diagnostic Radiography and HCPC registration.
• Two years post-qualification experience or equivalent NHS experience preferred.
• Willingness to work across multiple sites and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality imaging and patient care during interventional radiology procedures.
• Position, acquire, and archive images; manage equipment and consumables.
• Minimise radiation exposure to patients, staff and operators.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rota and flexible shift patterns.
• Work across Manchester sites including MRI/IR suites and hybrid theatres.
