Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) seeks a radiographer to join its interventional radiology team. No prior IR experience is required as full training will be provided; a passion for IR is essential.

The post spans Wythenshawe and Oxford Road sites, with five interventional rooms and three hybrid theatres, supporting vascular, non-vascular and paediatric work. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team providing high quality imaging and patient care, participate in 24/7 on-call

Qualifikationen

• Degree or diploma in Diagnostic Radiography with HCPC registration.
• NHS experience or training within the NHS is required.
• Demonstrated commitment to Interventional Radiology.

Aufgaben

• Provide high quality imaging and exceptional patient care during complex Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Position, acquire, manipulate and archive images using highly specialised equipment.
• Minimise radiation dose to patient and staff and maintain radiation safety.
• Respond rapidly to equipment requests and advise on alternative equipment when needed.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call service and lead service improvement audits.
