Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) invites applications for a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse in Interventional Radiology. The role spans IR, CT and Ultrasound with a rotation between Wythenshawe Hospital and Manchester Royal Infirmary.

Two full-time posts and one part-time post are available, with 4-day rotating shifts and on-call obligations. You will deliver high standards of nursing care, support procedures, and contribute to education and quality improvements while working within a

Formación

Registered Nurse with adult scope (NMCUK).
Degree or diploma in Nursing.
Mentorship qualification or SLiP training preferred.
Evidence of CPD and ongoing professional development.

Responsabilidades

Coordinate and manage Interventional Radiology patients across IR, CT & Ultrasound.
Deliver clinical nursing care within radiology; provide scrub, monitoring and recovery support.
Assist with interventional procedures as scrub nurse and monitor/ recovery nurse.
Participate in out-of-hours on-call rota after training.
Conduct pre-procedure assessments and determine patient readiness.
Lead quality improvement projects to support IR services and education for staff and students
Be flexible to rotate across IR rooms, recovery, Ultrasound, CT and MR wherever needed.
