Job summary

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in Reading is seeking an enthusiastic radiographer to join the Interventional Radiology and Fluoroscopy team. The department features IR suites, a dedicated Fluoroscopy room, and a five-bedded recovery unit.

You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team and may join the on-call rota after achieving required competencies. The role involves performing fluoroscopic examinations, including barium swallow studies, and contributing to service development

Qualifications

• Evidence of recent and extensive post-registration experience at Band 5
• Proven experience in fluoroscopic, CT imaging or interventional imaging

Responsibilities

• To perform and report fluoroscopic examinations in line with competencies
• To be a member of the Interventional Radiology team and undertake on-call duties
• Assist in strategic development of the service with IR Lead Radiographer
