Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust in Truro is inviting applications for a Consultant Cardiologist with advanced training in PCI. The post focuses on emergency and elective PCI, including rotablation and CTO PCI, with involvement in general cardiology on wards and in outpatients.

The role supports a 24/7 primary PCI service and offers flexible job planning with options for part-time or job-share, plus SPA time.

Qualifications

• Specialist training in interventional cardiology with expertise in PCI.
• Registration with GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT.
• Experience in complex PCI including rotablation and CTO PCI.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-volume PCI services including emergency, elective and primary PCI.
• Participate in ward and outpatient cardiology services.
• Support 24/7 primary PCI rota with planned rota improvements.
