Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Cardiologist with a focus on Heart Function and Devices to deliver non-interventional cardiology services in Cornwall. The role involves ward and outpatient duties, with participation in the CCU/CIU and AMU management, and a 1 in 7 ward-round commitment on weekends.

The post supports a heart function service and device work with a wide range of cath lab procedures and planned expansion of pacing capabilities.

Qualificações

• Broad training in all aspects of Cardiology.
• Skilled in non-interventional cardiology with focus on heart function and devices.

Responsabilidades

• Take part in General Cardiology service on wards and in out-patients.
• Share in inpatient management of Cardiology patients with other consultants.
• Cover CCU/CIU and AMU as part of COW weeks.
• Provide urgent clinical support to Cardiac Physiologists and Nurses.
