Job summary

Bombardier is seeking an International Sales Support Manager at the Biggin Hill Service Centre to lead the Aftermarket Services sales support function. You will oversee the Proposal Coordinator team, ensuring timely, accurate sales proposals while coordinating with Sales Managers and Product Administrators.

You will manage governance reports and dashboards using Salesforce and Maximo, support pricing and program initiatives, and drive product development from concept to launch in a globally

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in maintenance and operation of business aircraft or equivalent aviation experience.
• Three years of progressively responsible supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory jurisdictions including EASA, FAA, and others as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
• Strong computer skills: Salesforce, Maximo, CRM tools, Power BI, Excel, Outlook and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Regional Vice President, Service Sales International and manage key functions within Aftermarket Services.
• Lead the Proposal Coordinator team and coordinate with Regional Sales Managers, Product Administrators and Schedulers on timely, accurate sales proposals.
• Allocate sales proposals and track progress using Salesforce and Maximo.
• Ensure proposal requested dates are met and continually improve the proposal process.
• Support Regional Sales Managers with programs, pricing adjustments and scheduling of maintenance events with internal and external teams.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and governance processes to track proposal accuracy, quality and turnaround times; present to Senior Management.
• Coordinate with Sales to build and maintain product offerings.
• Oversee product implementation from concept to launch.
• Lead an internationally deployed team with coaching, PMP, disciplinary actions, development and training.

Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award-winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications and upgrades all from this site. Only 14 miles from London, Bombardier’s Biggin Hill Service Centre is ideally located to support operators in the UK region and beyond.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Report to the Regional Vice President, Service Sales International and perform key management function within the Aftermarket Services organisation.
• Manage the Proposal Coordinator team as they work with the Regional Sales Managers, Product Administrators, and Schedulers in the production of timely and accurate sales proposals using both the Salesforce and Maximo applications.
• Manage the allocation of sales proposals with the Proposal Coordinators and BAS Schedulers, and accurately track the progress of the proposal production via Salesforce and Maximo applications.
• Ensure proposal requested by dates are maintained and the proposal process is continually improved.
• Support the Regional Sales Managers in apply special programs, incentives, pricing adjustments and ensure the scheduling of the maintenance event is properly coordinated with internal departments and external vendors for customer aircraft.
• Develop and maintain dashboard reports and governance processes to track the sales proposal accuracy, quality, and turn-times using the Salesforce and Maximo applications. Present governance reports to Senior Management.
• Coordinate with Sales team to build and maintain product offerings.
• Manage the implementation of products through the product development process from concept to launch.
• Effectively manage an internationally deployed team in performing managerial responsibilities and related actions, i.e., coaching, PMP, disciplinary actions, employee development, training and certifications, work assignments, scheduling vacation and monitoring attendance.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the maintenance and operation of business aircraft, or equivalent experience within an aviation related industry
• You have a minimum of three (3) years progressively more responsible supervisory experience
• You have working knowledge of various Regulatory Authority jurisdictions and regulatory requirements, including EASA, FAA, and others as required for the production of our sales proposal
• You have a Bachelors degree in related area
• You have in-depth computer skills necessary to operate and / or learn Salesforce, Maximo, and similar CRM tools; word processing, excel spreadsheet, Power BI database, Outlook, O365 software suite, and other web-based applications.
• You have high level communications skills in both written and verbal form so as to clearly communicate objectives
• You have applicable business writing skills necessary to create various reports and correspondence.
• You have the ability to organize multiple simultaneous projects with flexibility to efficiently manage change in meeting requirements and deadlines.
