Portsmouth | Permanent | Hybrid after training (6 months training/probation)
If you’ve spent years building your clinical experience and are ready to step away from the ward without leaving your nursing skills behind, this could be a great next step.
We’re working with a well-established medical assistance organisation that is expanding its medical team and looking for experienced nurses to join them as International Nurse Coordinators.
This is not your typical desk job. You’ll be dealing with complex patient cases from around the world, using your clinical judgement to assess treatment, coordinate care and arrange repatriation where required.
You’ll be responsible for managing international medical cases, including:
They have nurses who have been with the organisation for 15–20+ years, creating a genuinely experienced and supportive medical environment.
They’re also investing in the future of the team with a new structured progression and banding system. This gives you a clear understanding of what you need to develop and achieve to progress into more senior positions and increase your earning potential.
You’ll also receive a comprehensive 6‑month training programme.
Once you’re fully trained and confidently settled into the role, hybrid working is available.
This role would suit an experienced nurse who has developed a broad clinical knowledge base and is confident making decisions independently.
You’ll need a minimum of 6 years’ post-registration experience, strong communication skills and the confidence to take accountability for your decisions.
Most importantly, they’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about achieving the best outcome for the patient and who will thrive in a fast‑paced, high-volume environment.
If you’re ready to take your nursing career in a completely different direction while still using the experience you have, we’d love to hear from you.
