Job summary

Clearwater Analytics seeks an Associate General Counsel – International to guide legal, compliance and risk management for its international operations outside the United States. The role supports the Chief Legal Officer in growth, governance and regional leadership across multiple jurisdictions.

The candidate will negotiate complex licenses and commercial agreements for technology, software, and services, ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance, and provide updates on cross-border matters

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide legal guidance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience navigating EU/UK/APAC regulatory environments.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills for complex international deals.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal, compliance and risk guidance for Clearwater's international operations.
• Lead cross-border contract negotiations and licensing arrangements.
• Coordinate regulatory compliance and data privacy programs for non-U.S. clients.
• Support the Chief Legal Officer in governance and business growth across international markets.
• Monitor regulatory changes and train business teams on international requirements.
