Job summary

Afid is recruiting an Audit Senior to deliver assignments for international institutions and partners. You will lead meetings with clients, coordinate fieldwork, review findings and prepare reports, while representing the organisation with senior stakeholders in an international setting.

The role requires managing own workload, collaborating with colleagues, and identifying opportunities to strengthen delivery.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong German language skills are a minimum requirement for this role.
• The ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional, constructive and respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tailored assignment plans based on terms of reference and contractual conditions.
• Lead opening meetings with clients and auditees, and present audit findings clearly at closing meetings.
• Lead fieldwork teams, including locally based staff, on overseas and remote assignments.
• Identify issues and areas of non-compliance, and document these clearly in assignment reports.
• Lead larger country-wide teams, acting as the main client focal point.
• Deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines, managing time and priorities effectively.
