Job summary

Allica Bank seeks a senior Azure platform engineer to design and run a repeatable, regulated international Azure platform. You will craft landing zones, enforce policy and governance, and implement Entra across multiple entities while handing over day-to-day operations to local teams.

You will lead a small engineering team, work with central platforms, and ensure resilience, security, and compliance across markets with a sustainable operating model.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on Azure architecture experience at scale.
• Deep, practical Infrastructure as Code capability (Terraform) including module design for reuse.
• Delivery within a regulated financial services environment.
• Experience running production platforms, incident management, on-call, and service ownership.
• Track record leading small, senior engineering teams while remaining technically hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a parameterised Azure landing zone instantiable per market.
• Deliver the estate via Infrastructure as Code with automated policy compliance.
• Lead on Entra identity across multiple entities and create repeatable operating models.
• Own service availability, incident management, and capacity planning for the international platform.
• Recruit, mentor and lead a small engineering team and set technical standards.
• Collaborate with UK platform, security, and product engineering to align controls.
