Mercury Hampton Ltd in Loughborough is seeking an Internal Valve Sales Engineer to join a friendly, supportive team. You’ll manage enquiries from initial contact through to quotation and order, providing technical and commercial support for valve products and related services.

This role suits someone with experience in internal or technical sales or customer service who wants development opportunities within an engineering environment and a clear path to progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales, technical sales or customer service.
• Knowledge of valves, flow-control products or industrial engineering products is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused and commercially aware approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate quotations for valve products and related services.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers and the external sales team.
• Process customer enquiries and orders efficiently and accurately.
• Liaise with engineering, production and supply chain teams to support on-time delivery.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Follow up quotations and identify new sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer and order records using SAP.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience.
