Job summary

AEP Compressed Air Technologies Ltd in Honiton (EX14) is seeking an Internal Technical Sales Engineer to be the first contact for customers and field sales engineers, applying technical knowledge to specify the right compressed air solutions.

You will quote for compressors, air treatment, pipework and consumables using SAP, size equipment for applications, and work with the Sales Manager and Field Sales to grow a portfolio of accounts.

Qualifications

• Be the go-to contact for inbound enquiries by phone, email and web – turning enquiries into orders.
• Prepare accurate, competitive technical quotations for compressors, air treatment, pipework systems, spares and consumables using SAP.
• Size equipment for applications – flow (cfm / m³/min), pressure (bar), air quality to ISO 8573-1 and duty cycle.
• Support engineers on more complex system designs.
• Manage your live pipeline of opportunities and follow up quotations.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to contact for inbound enquiries by phone, email and web – turning enquiries into orders.
• Put together accurate, competitive technical quotations for compressors, air treatment, pipework systems, spares and consumables using SAP.
• Solve engineering problems by sizing equipment for each application and assisting on complex designs.
• Follow up quotations and manage your own live pipeline of opportunities.
• Build relationships with key accounts and support field sales activities.
