Job summary

BiGDUG is seeking a proactive Sales Support Advisor to join the Sales Support Team in Hemel Hempstead on a fixed-term maternity cover. You will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, advising on products, generating quotations and processing orders to ensure a smooth sales process.

You will build strong customer relationships, update records, and collaborate with the team to meet targets while delivering excellent service and solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A customer-focused approach with a keen eye for detail.
• Desirable: Previous experience in a customer service, sales support or internal sales role.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email, maximising sales opportunities.
• Advise customers on suitable products and solutions for their requirements (full product training will be provided).
• Create and issue customer quotations and proactively follow up opportunities.
• Process customer orders accurately using the Kaiser + Kraft system.
• Maintain and update customer records, ensuring contact and address information remains accurate.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints and product return requests.
• Work collaboratively as part of the Sales Support Team to achieve shared objectives.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas, feedback and best practice with colleagues.
