Job summary

Hayley Group's Newtown branch invites applications for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Assistant. You will support the sales office by processing customer orders, updating the order book, handling phone enquiries and assisting at the Trade Counter.

You'll work across the team to build relationships with customers, resolve queries, and ensure orders are processed accurately. The role is office-based with occasional warehouse duties and deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Proficient in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office.
• Effective communicator with a polite and professional telephone manner.
• Sales experience is desirable.
• Good manual handling ability.
• Experience of working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and update the order book.
• Handle incoming phone enquiries and assist at the Trade Counter.
• Provide excellent service to customers over the phone and in person.
• Build strong relationships with customers and resolve queries.
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently; support warehouse duties when needed.
