C Roberts Steel Services, part of Barrett Steel, is seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive to join our General Steels sales team in Rotherham. You will develop your skills, learn our customers, products and processes, and build a long-term career within a well-established business.

No extensive steel knowledge is required; we value a positive attitude, willingness to learn and great people skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries and prepare quotations.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with existing customers.
• Follow up quotations and identify potential sales opportunities.
• Develop an understanding of our products, pricing and processing capabilities.
• Work closely with colleagues across sales, purchasing and operations.
• Support the wider sales team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Gradually develop commercial awareness and an understanding of profitable sales.
