Job summary

C Roberts Steel Services, part of Barrett Steel Group, in Rotherham, is seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive. No prior steel knowledge is required; what matters most is a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a customer‑focused mindset.

You’ll join a supportive team with full training to help you grow. Key tasks include responding to customer enquiries and quotations, processing orders accurately, building relationships with customers, and collaborating with sales, purchasing

Qualifications

• Attitude and willingness to learn; knowledge of steel not required.
• Full training and support will be provided.
• Sales or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries and prepare quotations.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with existing customers.
• Follow up quotations and identify potential sales opportunities.
• Develop an understanding of our products, pricing and processing capabilities.
• Work closely with colleagues across sales, purchasing and operations.
• Support the wider sales team in delivering excellent customer service.
