Job summary

Barrett Steel is seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive for the C Roberts Steel Services unit in Rotherham. You’ll join the General Steels sales team, with time, support and training to build your knowledge and confidence, gradually taking on more responsibility as you grow.

No extensive steel industry knowledge is required; a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong customer service skills are valued above all. Full training and support are provided.

All About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our General Steels sales team at C Roberts Steel Services in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career within a well-established business. We're not necessarily looking for someone with years of sales experience or an extensive knowledge of the steel industry. What's more important to us is finding someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in understanding our customers, products and business. Working alongside an experienced sales team, you'll be given the time, support and training to develop your knowledge and confidence, gradually taking on greater responsibility as your experience grows.

Key Tasks could include:

Previous experience within the steel industry would be advantageous but is certainly not a requirement. Full training and support will be provided.
