Job summary

TRC is seeking a Temporary Internal Recruiter (rolling 3-month contract) to support recruitment across multiple sites from Exeter. You will own the full-cycle process, attract top talent, and deliver a seamless candidate experience while coordinating with hiring managers.

The role requires 3+ years in recruitment, strong communication, and familiarity with ATS/CRM systems. A driving licence is essential for visiting sites within the area, with expenses paid.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an in-house recruitment or agency recruitment consultant.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (CRM databases) and sourcing on LinkedIn.
• Driving licence required for site visits (expenses paid).

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to take detailed job briefs and develop hiring strategies.
• Write engaging job postings and advertise on relevant job boards and social networks.
• Screen CVs and lead telephone, first-round and competency-based interviews.
• Track recruitment KPIs and prepare progress reports for HR and management.
• Proactively calling potential candidates and building a candidate pipeline.
• Host and assist with recruitment open days.
• Schedule and manage candidate onboarding.

TRC are recruiting for a Temporary Internal Recruiter (rolling 3 month contract) for one of our Nation wide clients based in Exeter

Role Overview

As an Internal Recruiter, you are responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process. Your goal is to attract and retain top talent while building a strong employer brand and providing a seamless candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to take detailed job briefs, determine qualification criteria, and develop effective hiring strategies.
• Talent Attraction: Write engaging job postings, advertise on relevant job boards and social networks, and maintain active talent databases.
• Screening & Interviewing: Source candidates through various channels, screen CVs, and lead telephone, first-round, and competency-based interviews.
• Reporting: Track recruitment KPIs, prepare progress reports for HR and management, and continually review recruitment strategies.
• Candidate Outreach: Proactively calling potential candidates (this will be the majority of the role).
• Depot Support: Hosting and assisting with recruitment open days.
• Admin & Coordination: Booking business meetings and actively managing our candidate onboarding pots.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Proven experience as an in-house recruitment or agency recruitment consultant.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills with a proven ability to build trust across all levels of the business.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems such as a CRM database and sourcing strategies using platforms like LinkedIn.
• Driving: Driving license is a must as you will be expected to visit various sites within the area - expenses are paid.
