Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an Internal Governance Analyst in London to support day-to-day counterparty onboarding and due diligence. You will review partner submissions, maintain OpenTWINS records, and ensure processes are followed with Compliance and business stakeholders.

In this role you will perform first-line due diligence, help update guidance documents, and contribute to governance improvements that enhance auditability and operational efficiency. Collaboration across functions will be essential.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with governance frameworks and control environments.
• Effective written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain audit trails and supporting documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate trading partner records within OpenTWINS.
• Review submissions from the business for new trading partners, ensuring required information and supporting documentation has been provided.
• Complete first-line due diligence checks and refer matters to Compliance where appropriate.
• Support the maintenance and ongoing improvement of the company’s trading partner process guidance documents.
• Liaise with business stakeholders and Compliance to support timely, consistent, and well-documented onboarding decisions.
• Contribute to process improvements that strengthen governance, controls, auditability, and operational efficiency.
• Once established in the role, support broader internal governance activities, including processes and procedures relating to market security, which are closely aligned to counterparty due diligence.

Acrisure Re - Internal Governance Analyst

The Internal Governance analyst will support the day-to-day management of the company’s counterparty onboarding and due diligence framework. The role will involve reviewing new trading partner submissions, existing trading partner update requests, completing first-line due diligence checks, maintaining trading partner records, and liaising with the business and Compliance to ensure processes are followed consistently and effectively.

Beneficial experience:

• Experience of counterparty onboarding processes, ideally within an insurance broking environment or, alternatively, the wider financial services sector.
• Experience using OpenTWINS.
• Understanding of market security procedures within a broking environment.
• Understanding of security ratings, rating agencies, and the monitoring of market ratings.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and support a clear audit trail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, Compliance, and other control functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
