Job summary

Farrans seeks an experienced Fit-Out Internals Manager/General Foreperson to oversee finishing works on a care home development. You will coordinate subcontractors, ensure quality and deliver in a live construction environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, schedule control, and adherence to Health & Safety regulations, from first fix through handover, with regular site meetings with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Fit-Out Manager/Foreperson on care home, healthcare, residential or hotel projects.
• Strong track record delivering internal works to high standard.
• Knowledge of drylining, joinery, decoration and M&E coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Valid Site Safety/SMSTS and CSCS supervisory level credentials.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all internal fit-out activities from first fix to handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors to meet safety, time, and quality targets.
• Maintain high quality through strict QA and snagging processes.
• Conduct site inspections and identify defects or non-conformances.
• Collaborate with Site/Project Manager and commercial team to drive progress.
