Job summary

Cotswold Outdoor Group is seeking an Internal Communications Officer on a fixed-term maternity cover until 31 December 2027. The role is full-time with hybrid working, three days in the Swindon office weekly, and a starting salary of £32,000–£35,000.

You’ll craft engaging internal communications, support engagement initiatives, manage the weekly enewsletter, and partner with stakeholders to communicate key updates across digital channels.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal communications, journalism, or marketing.
• Ability to create engaging newsletters and emails.
• Proficiency in design software for communications materials.
• Strong copywriting and proofreading with attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day internal communications across digital channels (email, newsletters).
• Produce and manage the weekly company e-newsletter from planning to distribution.
• Create engaging communications materials aligned to business priorities.
• Support colleague engagement surveys and report results.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand communications needs and provide solutions.
• Support internal events and business update meetings to drive engagement.
