Job summary

Alzheimer’s Society is seeking an Internal Communications and Engagement Officer to bring the charity’s strategy to life for employees and volunteers. You’ll plan and deliver communications, campaigns and engagement activity across the organisation, creating content that informs, involves and gives people a voice.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues to tell compelling stories, ensure accessibility, and continually improve how we connect staff with our purpose.

Qualifications

Clear, thoughtful communication across audiences.
Ability to create clear, accessible content for intranet/newsletters/briefings.
Experience collaborating with colleagues to share knowledge and ideas.

Responsibilities

Create, edit and publish content across intranet, newsletters, online briefings and Viva Engage.
Support communication plans, campaigns, events and conferences.
Find and tell stories that celebrate our people and show our impact.
Work with colleagues to create clear, accessible and audience-focused communications.
Build positive relationships with stakeholders and provide practical communication support.
Use feedback to understand what’s working and improve future communications.
Contribute to team planning and better ways of working.
