Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking an experienced internal communications professional to join our fast-paced team in London. You will translate business strategy into clear, engaging communications for colleagues across a large organisation, partnering with senior stakeholders to support transformation and culture programmes.

You will develop content across newsletters, town halls, events and IRIS, measure impact, and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Significant internal communications experience in a large, complex organisation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting transformation, change or culture programmes.
• Strong background in strategic messaging, comms planning and campaign delivery.
• Experience creating or overseeing multi-channel content including events, video and visuals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across Retail, People, Digital & Technology and Finance to deliver colleague communications aligned to business priorities.
• Develop engaging content and campaigns across newsletters, town halls, huddles and IRIS to keep colleagues informed and connected to the M&S strategy.
• Create compelling stories to bring transformation, culture and performance to life for colleagues at all levels.
• Lead comms around colleague initiatives including wellbeing, development, benefits, DE&I and charity partnerships.
• Measure effectiveness, gather insights, and use data to continuously improve engagement and outcomes.
