Job summary

Boots and No7 Beauty Company is seeking an Internal Communications Manager for Corporate, Strategy, Group and Support Functions to lead colleague communications across our 52,000-strong workforce. You will craft clear, engaging content that informs, inspires and aligns colleagues with our strategic priorities.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, you’ll collaborate with PR, Public Affairs and other teams to deliver timely updates, own the company narrative and plan communications

What you'll be doing

As the Internal Communications Manager for Corporate, Strategy, Group and Support Functions, you'll lead colleague communications that keep the business informed, engaged, and inspired. You will report to the Head of Internal Communications and work closely with various teams to ensure our overarching company strategy resonates with every colleague.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead internal communications for Corporate, Strategy, and Support Functions, ensuring clarity and engagement.
• Evolve our internal company narrative, keeping colleagues engaged in our strategic priorities.
• Deliver the CEO's regular internal communications, ensuring timely and engaging updates, working closely with our PR and Public Affairs teams.
• Plan and deliver communications for our big corporate moments, creating colleague excitement and understanding while coordinating inputs, approvals and channels across a complex stakeholder set.
• Create high-quality content across various channels, measuring performance to continually improve impact.

What you'll need to have

• Natural gravitas, excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work calmly and creatively at pace to draft, edit and shape high-quality colleague communications.
• Experience in internal communications for strategy, corporate or leadership communications is key
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to simplify complex information into compelling communications.
• Strategic planning and prioritisation capabilities.

Experience you'll need to have

• Extensive previous experience in internal communications for strategy, corporate or exec / senior leadership communications
• Natural gravitas, excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work calmly and creatively at pace to draft, edit and shape high-quality colleague communications.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to simplify complex information into compelling communications.
• Strategic planning and prioritisation capabilities.

It would be great if you also have

• A background or interest in beauty, retail, health, or wellness sectors.
• Experience with design packages such as Adobe InDesign or Canva.
