Job summary

AG Barr Group is seeking a Communications Officer for a 3 month FTC with hybrid work. You will deliver employee communications across channels, craft engaging content, and guide teams in best practices to protect and promote our corporate reputation.

You’ll work with the Head of Communications to support events, website updates, and stakeholder engagement, enhancing our People, Health & Wellbeing and ESG initiatives across sites.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree (or equivalent) with at least 2 years’ experience in a communications related role.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills with attention to detail.
• Digital savviness and willingness to learn platforms and systems including Umbraco and video/design tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify employee, business and brand content for internal communication.
• Translate content for multiple channels (Fizz, videos, e-newsletters, digital screens).
• Manage communication campaigns and advise on best channel approaches.
• Own the content creation and community management of Fizz, the internal platform.
• Create engaging social media content and maintain LinkedIn presence.
• Develop and maintain the corporate website content and best practices.
• Support events planning and delivery (Barr Live, leadership and brand events).
• Manage relationships with charity partners and internal champions to boost engagement.
