Halton Borough Council is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join the Internal Audit team. You will contribute to risk management, governance and control improvements, drafting concise reports for Senior Management and working under an Audit and Investigations Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal audit within a local authority or similar organisation.
• Ability to draft and present clear, concise reports to Senior Management.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a varied portfolio of audit work across Council functions.

• Support improvement of risk governance and internal control processes within the Council.
