The Role
You'll play a pivotal part in shaping the success of the Birmingham office which demonstrates impressive year-on-year growth, underpinned by a commitment to responsible business, healthy people, and thriving communities.
- Lead, plan, and deliver a wide variety of internal audit engagements for public sector and corporate clients.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members, supporting them as they grow into risk and control specialists.
- Monitor budgets and agree assignment fees, ensuring top-quality and efficient delivery.
- Build strong client relationships to deliver a high-quality audit service and sector best practice advice.
- Support business development activities and help drive team growth through recruitment and involvement in sector initiatives.
What we're looking for:
- CIA/ACA qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience managing a portfolio of audit clients in the public sector, not-for-profit, or corporate sectors.
- Passion for people management, coaching, and team development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Collaborative, team-focused approach with motivation to help drive business success.
- Ready to step up to a Manager role if you're currently an Assistant Manager, or already operating at Manager level.
