Job summary

Civic is a growing Building Services MEP team delivering coordinated, sustainable mechanical designs across the UK. You will contribute to a range of building projects, working with industry experts to integrate mechanical systems with other disciplines.

You will be an experienced mechanical engineer with a focus on accuracy, teamwork and proactive problem-solving. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities to influence high-profile private and public-sector projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Building Services MEP design and delivery.
• Strong technical detail with a collaborative approach.
• Able to produce accurate, coordinated and well-presented designs and models.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering discipline design, analysis, calculation and drawing input.
• Supervise apprentices and graduates at times.
• Identify problems and opportunities; assess with qualitative and quantitative measures.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates and risk assessments for proposed designs.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers and contractors to integrate mechanical systems.
