Baily Garner LLP is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our Birmingham-based Consultancy team, with potential for Project Team Leader responsibilities. The role involves delivering electrical services across project lifecycles, collaborating with architecture, building and quantity surveying groups.

Required: Electrical Engineering Degree, 2+ years post-qualification, consultancy experience; ideally Chartered or working towards; IET/CIBSE membership is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering electrical services within a consultancy environment.
• Membership in professional bodies such as IET/CIBSE is advantageous (or pursuing).
• Chartered status or working towards it is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Engineers with project design and delivery.
• Understand client needs and design building services to meet regulations and standards.
• Prepare specifications, drawings, and schedules for electrical services; assist with cost estimates, planning, and tendering.
• Lead and manage project tasks and assist with site surveys, testing, and commissioning.
• Share knowledge and train junior colleagues; attend meetings and help with minutes.
