Qualifications

• Strong technical skills, particularly in specification writing and contract administration.

We're seeking an Intermediate Building Surveyor to join their Manchester team, working on a variety of public sector refurbishment and maintenance projects (including Ministry of Justice estates) alongside commercial CAT A & CAT B office fit-outs.

Great role for any Assistant Building Surveyor looking to step up and gain real variety, combining technical surveying and project management from feasibility and specification through to delivery. No tjust that but you'll be part of a team with some of the most expeirenced Building Surveyors in the industry who have a great track record in helping surveyors through the APC.

The Role

• Delivering a broad mix of projects across public sector and commercial portfolios.
• Undertaking condition and technical surveys, feasibility studies, and preparing design/specification documents.
• Managing refurbishment and fit-out schemes through design, tender, and construction stages.
• Working closely with clients, contractors, and internal design teams.
• Supporting senior surveyors and mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate.

About You

• Some consultancy or client-side building surveying experience already post degree.
• Any exposure across refurbishment, maintenance, and fit-out projects.
• Strong technical skills, particularly in specification writing and contract administration.
• Ideally progressing towards MRICS (which this Practice fully support)
• A confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach.
