Job summary

Asper Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor focused on joinery and drywall for high-end interior fit-out projects. You will oversee measurements, prepare and settle interim claims, and manage variations across several sites while maintaining cost control and commercial awareness.

The successful candidate will have strong IT skills, excellent communication with clients and colleagues, and an ability to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Recent surveying experience in construction/fit-out industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication to stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of contract documents and construction practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to innovate while meeting compliance and commercial requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee measurements and report variances.
• Prepare and settle interim claims.
• Prepare supporting documentation for client and consultants.
• Identify, measure, and agree variations.
• Cost investigations.
• Prepare and submit weekly financial reports to client and QS.
• Manage several projects at different stages.
• Provide accounts with monthly cost/valuation information.
• Advise management on contractual matters.
• Measure and agree Final Accounts.
