Job summary

Resolution Interiors Limited is seeking an experienced contractor-side Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management across a diverse portfolio of interior fit-out and shopfitting projects. You will own cost control, budgeting, valuations and subcontractor management from award through final account.

The role demands practical contractor-side experience and the ability to drive commercial performance in collaboration with project teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have practical contractor-side quantity surveying experience.
• Experience in SME construction, fit-out, shopfitting or specialist subcontracting environments.
• Able to work with project delivery teams and own commercial performance through the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control project costs from award to final account.
• Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, cost reports and commercial updates.
• Assess, price, negotiate and manage project variations.
• Manage valuations, payment applications, contractual notices and final accounts.
• Procure subcontractor packages, analyse tenders and negotiate subcontract agreements.
• Review, value and manage subcontractor accounts and payments.
• Monitor commercial risks and opportunities and implement controls.
• Support Project Managers with commercial decision‑making.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Apply knowledge of JCT and NEC principles where relevant.
